This is a website of the Kanakatte Dixith family. Kanakatte is a serene village in Hassan District, Karnataka, India. Dixith family is a large family including children, grand-children, great-grand-children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and their families, mainly in Karnataka, but also spread all over the World.

The aim of this website is to bring everyone in contact with one another and 'keep them in touch'. If you are a member of this family or related to them in any way, you are welcome to register at this site.

All registrations are manually activated to maintain the privacy of the content within, especially photo gallery, family tree, profiles and forum discussions.

1. Photo Gallery: A central place to post the latest photographs of you and your family. You can see the photos uploaded by others, and comment on them too.

2. Family Tree: This is new feature. You can add your family details in the family tree too. It is an interconnected tree that has unlimited branch levels and completely editable by registered users. 

3. Forum: An event happening in the family? Some news to be posted to everyone? Again, a central place to post it and discuss about it too! 

4. Private Messaging System: Have lost contact with one another? Forgot an email address? No more, all will be here, not with email ID, but by their name (if registered here). Also allows sending of messages to everyone.

5. Profiles: Each registered member will have a profile page where details provided by the member are available, including contact details. Members can email one another from here too. Other registered members can write comments on the profile (like in Orkut).

More features than this may also be added, your suggestions are welcome.

When did you change your profession !! its too good.... but I do not see it being actively used.... this will definitely be a good forum for all the dixit family members to communicate and stay in touch.....

How are you? This site is gr8. As I see, it was created last year, but we came to know about this only now, a good 1 year later.. Anyways, Try to upload more old snaps if you have. I showed all the snaps to ajja and ajji and they loved it. We all will surely keep in touch now through this effort of yours. Keep up the good work. Bye.. Take care.
